How often should lessons be?
Depending on your schedule, lessons are flexible. Most lessons are 30-minute to 1-hour lessons weekly. I recommend weekly lessons, especially in the beginning. Intermediate and advanced musicians will still benefit from taking lessons, especially for refining and improving particular skills. Weekly, every other week, or even monthly lessons are a great way to keep progressing as a musician.
Do you offer a free trial lesson?
Yes, a free 30-minute lesson is available for lessons at Boulder Symphony & Music Academy. For remote music lessons, please contact me directly at hello@joshsmusicverse.com. Having a free lesson will give you the opportunity to get an overview of how I teach and provide an overview of what to expect with lessons.

What age groups or skill levels do you teach?
I welcome students of all ages, from young beginners to advanced musicians looking to refine their skills. My piano lessons for all ages are tailored to each individual's goals and learning pace.
Do students need to provide their own instruments?
For in-studio lessons, there are available instruments for use during the session. For remote lessons, students will need to provide their own instrument. Having a weighted keyboard is a great way to begin piano lessons if you do not have your own piano.
What is your policy for rescheduling or missing a lesson?
I understand life happens! I kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule a lesson, and I will do my best to accommodate a make-up session.
