As a teacher, Josh values creating an inviting and open atmosphere that emphasizes the joy of playing and learning music.

He seeks to balance teaching rudimentary skills such as technique, chord theory, ear training, and sight reading with an emphasis on improvisation, creativity, and expression. 

Lessons are based off student’s musical interests to keep students engaged and enthusiastic about playing music.
